Towing

Towing coverage is an optional coverage that you can elect to purchase on you auto insurance policy that will reimburse you for charges due to a disablement of your vehicle. Towing coverage is offered in many limits including $50, $75, $100, or $200 per disablement. Towing coverage is not roadside assistance. If you have towing coverage on your policy and have to pay for a disablement of your vehicle you may submit a claim to your insurance company to reimburse you for the amount that was paid out up to the limit that is specified on your policy. You will need to have comprehensive and collision coverage on your policy to be able to have towing coverage. This coverage is vehicle specific and does not cover all of the vehicles on the policy.
