Roadside Assistance
With most insurance companies that offer roadside assistance you will have a dedicated dispatch phone number that you will call if you find yourself in a position that you needed roadside assistance. The insurance company at that point will dispatch a towing company on your behalf and pay for the disablement up the limits of you contract. Most roadside assistance plans will have a maximum number of times within a specified period that you will be able to use the service as well as a maximum distance that they will pay for the tow. You will be responsible to pay the amount above and beyond the limit that is specified. Contact one of our experienced insurance agents to see if the roadside assistance plan that you are purchasing is vehicle specific, driver specific, or broadened roadside coverage. Many insurance companies offer roadside assistance even with liability only and some companies will offer a separate roadside assistance plan that is not the same company as your auto insurance company.
